Mumbai: Responding to Airtel’s segmented offer, Reliance Jio today said the company maintains its everyday more value promise (EDMV) and offers Rs 100 discount on Rs 399 plan along with double data (3GB/day) benefit. The offer is available to all Jio users for the month of June.

Jio in its statement said, ‘Jio maintains its Everyday More Value (EDMV) promise committed at the time of the launch of its services, which states that every Jio user will get the BEST TARIFFS in the industry, always.The EDMV promise assures that Jio users will always get MORE BENEFITS than any other operator in the industry.’

‘In a recent move, Airtel introduced 1GB/day additional data on MRP 149 and MRP 399 price points ONLY for a limited set of Airtel users. In response to the Airtel offer, Jio will now provide 1.5GB/day additional Jio 4G data to EVERY JIO USER who recharges with any daily-recurring data pack.’

a. 1.5GB/day data pack users – Rs 149, 349, 399, 449 will now get 3GB/day

b. 2GB/day data pack users – Rs 198, 398, 448, 498 will now get 3.5GB/day

c. 3GB/day data pack users – Rs 299 will now get 4.5GB/day

d. 4GB/day data pack users – Rs 509 will now get 5.5GB/day

e. 5GB/day data pack users – Rs 799 will now get 6.5GB/day

‘Moreover, Jio also offers a ₹100 discount on all recharges of ₹300 and above and 20% on recharges below the ₹300 price point, if the user recharges through the MyJio app and pays using PhonePe wallet. With this, Jio users will get:

a. ₹149 pack effectively for ₹120 with 3GB/day data, free voice, SMS and Jio Apps for 28 days.

b. ₹399 pack effectively for ₹299 with 3GB/day data, free voice, SMS and Jio Apps for 84 days.

The company in its statement said, ‘Jio continues to be a price-leader in the industry, and Everyday More Value (EDMV) promise is a continued assurance to all Jio users, that they continue to get more benefits and the best tariffs over any other operator in the country.This additional data benefit will be available post 4pm starting 12th June to 30th June, 2018.’
