Ahmedabad:

Several places in Gujarat including Bhavnagar, Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Surat, Valsad, Rajkot, Amreli etc today saw light to moderate rain even as the met has maintained it heavy to very heavy rain warning for July 4 and 5 for South Gujarat and adjoining union territories.

Ahemdabad city saw spells of rain in the afternoon and in the evening. It witnessed on an average around one inch of rain while some areas saw over 2.5 inches of rain. It also caused water logging in several low lying areas.

Ghogha in Bhavnagar district also saw around 2 inches of rain,, Vapi in Valsad, Surat, Veraval in Gir Somnath district also saw rain.

Met department has maintained its heavy to very heavy rain warning for parts of South Gujarat and adjoining UT of Daman and Dadra and Nagar Haveli for July 4 and 5.
