Ashok Rawal appointed Secretary of Gujarat unit of VHP, handed over responsibility of state organization

Ahmedabad: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has appointed Shri Ashokbhai Rawal as new secretary of its Gujarat unit. A decision in this regard was taken in Akhil Bharatiya Bethak of VHP in Delhi which was convened during 24-25 June, it is learnt. Ashokbhai replaces outgoing state unit secretary Ranchhod Bharwad who has recently left VHP to join Dr. Pravin Togadia led Aantarrashtriya Hindu Parishad(AHP) along with outgoing general secretary Kaushik Mehta and others.
As per the decision taken in Akhil Bharatiya Bethak of VHP, existing state unit president of VHP – Gujarat, Shri Dilip Trivedi will continue on same post.
Retired manager of Gujarat Agro Corporation, Shri Rawal has been Seva Pramukh of RSS at prant level for last ten years. RSS has now assigned him the responsibility of Gujarat unit of VHP. Shri Rawal is based in Ahmedabad.
According to sources, the task of district level organization formation will be carried out and completed during 7-8 July. Prior to that the VHP Gujarat will meet the press in presence of its all India functionary in Ahmedabad and share the details of resolutions passed in Akhil Bharatiya Bethak. The resolution passed were regarding demand to deport Rohingyas and sealing of Tripupra border with Bangladesh to prevent their entry and formation of a dedicated ministry for cow conservation.
