Saudi Airlines plane going to Dhaka from Riyadh make emergency landing in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad:
An aircraft of Saudi Airlines going to Dhaka in Bangladesh from Riyadh in Saudi Arabia had to make emergency landing at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport here tonight.
The plane landed here due to a medical emergency.
Airport Director Manoj Gangal said, ‘ Saudia Airline flight SV804 from Riyadh to Dhaka requested Ahmedabad ATC for diversion to Ahmedabad as a passenger named Nazir Ahmed Runa, Male, 38 yrs was unconscious. Diversion was immediately approved by Ahmedabad airport. Full Priority was accorded to the aircraft. Emergency procedures were initiated. The flight landed at time 1952 IST. The nearest parking stand was allotted to the aircraft. The passenger is conscious. Medical doctor is attending him.”
