Justice MR Shah, KS Jhaveri from Gujarat to be CJ of Patna and Odisha High Court respsectively

Gandhinagar: The Supreme Court collegium has recommended elevation of Justice MR Shah, the senior most judge of Gujarat high court, as the chief justice of Patna high court.
On July 16, the SC collegium resolved, “Having regard to all relevant factors, the Collegium finds Justice M R Shah suitable in all respects for being appointed as Chief Justice of the Patna High Court and resolves to recommend that he be appointed as Chief Justice of that High Court.”
The SC collegium has also recommended for another Gujarat origin Judge, Justice K S Jhaveri, who is in Rajasthan high court at present, to be made the chief justice of Orissa high court.
