African national with plastic balls containing cocaine in his stomach nabbed at SVPI Airport

Ahmedabad:
An African national (resident of West African Country Côte d’Ivoire) who had hidden plastic coated ball containing cocaine in his stomach has been nabbed from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel international airport here today.
Airport Police station PI N N Parmar said that 29 year old Johou Alaxis was caught by CISF while he was going to board Ahmedabad-Mumbai Jetlite flight number S2315.
During body scan sound of bip was heard when the scanner was put around his belly. He was caught and during interrogation accepted to have gulped 20 small cocaine containing plastic balls.
Parmar said that he has been sent to Civil hospital for operating out the balls and the drug.
