Latest victim of stray cow menace in Gujarat is Lok Sabha MP Liladhar Vaghela

Gandhinagar: Lok Sabha member from Patan constituency, Liladhar Vaghela is hospitalised after a stray cow hit him and caused injuries.
Vaghela is suffering at least 2 fractures in the ribs and some blood clot after the incident of him being hit by a stray cow near his residence in Gujarat capital.
A family member today said that the incident took place near his house in Panchsheel park society in sector 21 here in the afternoon yesterday.
‘He has sustained injuries in the ribs and the doctors of Apollo hospital where 83 year old Leeladharbhai has been admitted have confirmed at least 2 fractures. They have informed us that there was also some blood clot inside which need to be taken out to avoid any possible respiratory complications,’ the family member said adding that if the blood clot is successfully removed with the help of telescopic operation soon, he would be discharged in a few days otherwise it might take some time to recovery if a bigger procedure is involved.
Giving a description of the incident she said, ‘ normally he does not go to walk in the afternoon but yesterday at around 3 to 3;30 he was out of the house and when he saw the stray cow which was at some distance he tried to shoo it away with his hanky but the cow attacked him.’
