September 06, 2018
Ahmedabad:
Congress backed PAAS leader Hardik Patel who was not providing his blood/urine samples to government doctors since last 3 days of his indefinite fast which entered 13 day today, also refused to get him weighed also.
Doctor of Sola Civil Hospital P K Solanki said that the the PAAS leader did not allow weighing today and also did not provide any blood or urine sample for tests.
‘However his blood pressure was measured and found to be normal,’ Dr Solanki said.
Notably a controversy had erupted around his weight yesterday when it was found to be going up yesterday after going down till day 11.
It came to fore that Hardik’s weight had not decreased as much as earlier reported by doctors and it has gone down only by 11.6 kg instead of earlier reported 20 kg during his indefinite fast which has entered 12 th day yesterday. It was 66.4 kg. His weight on day one of the fast ie August 25 was 78 kg. Two days ago it was reported as 58.3 kg showing an around 20 kg decline in 11 days but it was measured 66.4 kg yesterday. The doctors claimed that the difference might be a result of wrong posture.
He was today seen on wheel chair.
His aide and self styled spokesperson Manoj Panara told newsman that the government might forcefully admit him in the hospital and play with his health claiming that his vital organs like heart, kidney and liver were already damaged. He said that his private doctors and close aides won’t leave him alone even if he is forcefully taken to hospital.
