Engergy Minister Saurabh Patel today said that doctors of Sola civil hospital were providing best possible treatment to PAAS leader Hardik Patel and a bulletin about his health would be issued by them.

He also said that despite the fact that Hardik, Manoj Panara and his team has insulted the leaders of Patidar community who had done so much for the society, the government’s door was open for anyone for talks.

Talking to newsmen he said that the doors of government was open for Patidar and every other community.
He said that Congress which was backing Hardik Patel has not yet made its stand clear on reservation issue while the government, Patidar community and even PAAS has made it clear. Now Hardik and PAAS should ask Congress to make its stand clear about it. As per supreme court ruling in any situation the total reservation quota can’t exceed 50%.

To a query about the government talk with Khodaldham trust chairman Naresh Patel about Hardik, he said that the government had earlier met the representatives of six Patidar outfits including Umiya and Khodaldham and it has no problem in meeting anyone again.

He also said that government was ready to meet any member of the community anytime but if someone do politics in the name of community then we would treat him in political manner.

Meanwhile, it is learnt that CM Vijay Rupani has authorized a committee of four ministers; Saurabh Patel, Bhupendra Chudasama, Kaushik Patel and Pradipsinh Jadeja to talk with Naresh Patel and representatives of Umiya dham. The meeting might take place tomorrow here.

Reacting to Saurabh Patel’s statement Manoj Panara later said that government should not indulge in blame game.
‘We are ready to talk with government at place and time of its choice till 11am tomorrow. Officially government should intimate me on my number about it. We want to forget differences and talk about the three issues of farmer’s loan waiver, partidar reservation and release of our jailed aide in sedition case Alpesh Kathiria. We want a good end of all these. Now that Saurabh Patel is saying that he was ready to talk directly with us, I am giving my reaction that we are ready for that provided we are formally invited. We don’t have any problem if they include other leaders including Naresh Patel in the talks and officials too,’ he said.
