Rahul’s statement against PM shows his sanskar and also that he can lie in parliament: Smriti Irani in Surat
September 21, 2018
Surat: Union Minister and firebrand BJP leader Smriti Irani today strongly hit out at Congress president Rahul Gandhi for his recent ‘indecent’ remark against against PM Narendra Modi at an election rally in Rajasthan.
Talking to newsmen here today Irani, who had also contested last election against Gandhi in Amethi, said that Rahul has showed his Sanskar by giving such a statement.
‘The kind of statement he has given was an example of the low-level politics he was indulged in. In the Parliament he hugs the PM and claims that he was doing the politics of love. But his statement of yesterday is the testimony to the fact that he can lie in the parliament. It is also shows his Sanskara (the values with which one has been brought-up),’ Irani said.
Notably, during a public meeting in poll bound Rajasthan Rahul had yesterday said that while after becoming PM, Modi had said that he was a ‘Chowkidar, but now with his deeds the people have raised the slogan ;Gali Gali me Shor hai, Hindustan ka Chowkidar Chor hai’ (It is now known in every nook and corner that the guard of India was a burglar).
