TV reporter receives threats, racial slurs on Facebook for coverage on Thakor Sena agitation against migrants

Ahmedabad: A reporter working at Zee Chovis Kalak, a Gujarati news channel of Zee Media group was issued threats with racist comments on Facebook over his coverage of attacks on migrants in North Gujarat during Congress leader Alpesh Thakor led Thakor Sena agitation.
Delhi based senior TV journalist Vikas Bhaduria posted a tweet and shared screenshots of threats issued to Amit Rajput by Facebook handle namely GKTS(Gujarat Kshatriya Thakor Sena, an organization led by Alpesh Thakor) Pundrassan Gandhinagat Taluko.
Vikas Bhaduriya in his tweet mentioned: Zee News correspondent Amit Rajput did coverage on Thakor Sena’s goondaism against North Indians, and he was issued threats of murder on Facebook. This is the written evidence of Thakor Sena’s dadagiri.
