Garba flash mob welcomes passengers at international terminal of Ahmedabad airport

Ahmedabad: And the latest venue to host Navratri Garba in Gujarat has been the international airport. Yes you heard it right. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport(SVPI) in Ahmedabad welcomed the passengers at its international terminal with live Garba performance which was joined by staffers of various airlines and also professional Garba dancers. Flash mob type performances were also joined by some passengers. Performances were organized just before departure and after arrival to mark celebration of ongoing nine-night long Navratri festival during which crores of Gujaratis dance on the tune of Garba songs. The idea was backed by Airport Authority of India(AAI) and Airlines Operator Committee.
