Inside the Statue of Unity and view from gallery

Vadodara: For the first time, the inside visuals of Statue of Unity – world’s tallest statue in making which is scheduled to be inaugurated on October 31st near Sardar Sarovar dam in Central Gujarat, India. The statue is dedicated to iron man of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel who joined native states and created post 1947 Indian map. A 182 meter tall statue will have inbuilt view gallery at chest portion. This is the first video catering glimpse of how scenery will look like from viewing gallery. Sardar Sarovar Narmada dam can bee seen from the gallery in this video which was captured yesterday. The statue is going to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on October 31st, which is the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel. Modi had conceived and kicked off this project when he was Chief Minister of Gujarat. India’s premier engineering firm L&T has made this statue, cost of which is believed around Rs 3,000 crore.
