Ghogha-Hazira Ro-Ro ferry service to start by December: CM Rupani

Ghogha (Gujarat): CM Vijay Rupani today said that Ghogha, from where India’s largest Ro-pax ferry service started today, the passenger based Ro-Ro service would also start for all important port of Hazira in Surat by December this year.
Speaking to media persons, Rupani said that after connection of Ghogha and Hazira steps would be initiated to connect it with Mumbai for both passenger as well as vehicle and good services.
He said that the port of Hazira which was maintained by Essar group would also be ready for Ro-Ro service soon and such service between Ghogha and Hazira would be started by December.
Rupani said that when the service would be extended till Mumbai in later stage, it would lessen the load on road traffic by a good deal.
