PM to visit Wall of Unity at Statue of Unity premises

Gandhinagar: The Wall of Unity, which is being constructed from the soil collected from around one and a half lakh villages from the country. Sardar Patel contributed in a unique way to strengthen the mantra of unity and integrity of the nation. Wall of Unity has been constructed in the premises of the world’s tallest Statue- “Statue of unity”, to be established globally built at Kevadiya Colony.
The tourist will have new opportunities to visit, through the exhibition with latest technology of audio-visual technique, which will give a flash to the lifestyle of Sardar Patel.In pedestal part of the Statue of Unity statue, a 4,647 square meter area has a large display room for exhibition has been created.
Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will unveil world’s tallest statue “Statue of Unity” on 31st October 2018 the 134th birth anniversary of Sardar Patel; the statue will also become a representative and inspiration of Unity, Integrity and Peace across the globe. Along will it Modi will also visit the “Wall of Unity” with latest technology highlighting the lifestyle of the Ironman of India, being built in the premises around.
The Specialty of “Wall of Unity” is, when Narendra Modi was the then Chief Minister of Gujarat, he resolved for the construction of this statue and the farmers and the people from the nation collected iron and soil for the construction of the statue.Soil was collected from 1,69,078 villages and iron from used agricultural implements of farmers from different states of the country.
