Navsari: The RR cell of Surat Police today nabbed 4 people and recovered MDMA durg, a synthetic drug that acts as a stimulant and hallucinogen and misused as a party drug worth around Rs 45 lakh from them in neighbouring Navsari district.

Police said that based on a tip off around 540 gm of MDMA drug was seized from a place between Pipal Gabhan and Khergam .

MDMA produces an energizing effect and distortions in time and perception and is a proscribed item under NDPS act.
