Godhara: At least two human skulls and some bones have been recovered from a field in Hadpetiya-Kanjari village in Halol taluka in Panchmahal district in Central Gujarat, Police said today.

SP Leena Patil said that the skulls and bones were recovered yesterday on the information from the village Sarpanch. ‘There are two human skulls and some bones and the field from where these have been found was full of wild grass and weeds. The land-lord has not visited it for a long time. The skulls and bones would be sent for FSL test after which further investigation would be done. It would also be ascertained whether the bones belonged to only two or more people,’ she added.

Meanwhile a policeman in Halol police station said that prima facie it seems that the skulls were of a woman and a child. He said that the skulls and bones seems to be of the persons died at least 15 days ago. Parts of it have been eaten up by dogs and pigs.
