Amit Shah meets Bhagwat, two day Hindu Dharm Sabha concludes, discussion held on Ram temple

Rajkot:The two day Hindu Dharm Sabha of saints in which RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, BJP president Amit Shah, general secretary Ram Madhav and senior leader Subramanian Swamy also participated, concluded here today.

Though there are no official words from the organizers or the leaders so far about the decisions taken in the closed door meetings amid the tight security at the venue in Arsh Vidya Mandir in Munjakha on the outskirts of this city, it has been learnt that the issue of Ram temple construction at Ayodhya also figured prominently during the discussions in which other issues including terrorism and alleged forced conversions were also taken up.

A saint claimed that Bhagwat during his address in the meeting said that the temple should be constructed at the Ramjanbhoomi and that too before next Loksabha election.

Another saint claimed that the saints were all of strong view that the temple construction should be started at the earliest with the help of an ordinance by the center as BJP was in power, both at center and in UP.

He however said that on their tough stance subdued somewhat on the second day today after BJP president Amit Shah arrived. One view that as the matter was in the court of law, some time should be given to it.

There were words about Baba Ramdev’s participation in the Sabha but he could not turn up till the last session today, an insider said.
