New Delhi: Union Minister and ruling Bharatiya Janata Party leader Smriti Irani today in a press conference in Delhi said, Congress misused the CBI in 2010 to frame BJP President Amit Shah. There’s clear proof of political conspiracy by Congress against him. We want to highlight to the nation that Congress will not spare anyone who comes in their pursuit of power.

In an interaction, Smriti Irani speaking as Rajya Sabha member from Gujarat said, if you are saying that opposition’s contention is that by saying ‘Jai Hind’ you are being regressive then I rather embrace my nation & celebrate its prominence & say ‘Jai Hind’.

She was speaking in reference to recent Gujarat government decision to answer roll call in school by using Jay Hind or Jay Bharat instead of Yes Sir and Present Sir.

She said: The fact that the Opposition finds it ridiculous to hail your country just shows their mentality and not that of the Gujarat government.
