GTU Motorsports team wins Formula Bharat 2019 at Coimbatore

Gandhinagar: A team of 24 students and mentor Parth Sejpal had represented GTU at Formula Bharat and being the only team from Gujarat has won the First Prize at Formula Bharat leaving behind 74 Combustion vehicle team and 16 electric vehicle teams from all over India including teams from IIT Madras, IIT Khadagpur, IIT Delhi, NIT Kurukshetra, VIT Chennai, COEP Pune and many more who are also going International for Student Formula.
GTU Team also received award for
1.) Best Fuel Efficiency Award.
2.) First in Endurance Race.
3.) Best in Overall Dynamics.
Prof.(Dr) Navin Sheth, Vice Chancellor of GTU conveyed congratulations to winner team and said that this is the proud moment for Gujarat.

– Combustion engine (petrol) 390 cc.
– Car weight 183 kg
– 43 brake Horse Power
– 2 wheel drive (rear wheel)
– 25 members of team are from Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar, Rajkot and Vasad.
