Bomb threat call for SVPI Airport Ahmedabad turns out to be hoax, no flight affected

Ahmedabad: The information received from Public Sector Airliner Air India’s Mumbai office regarding bomb in the internation terminal of the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport here turned out to be false.
According to a statement issued here by the Airport the hoax call about a bomb in the T 2 of SVPI airport Ahmedabad was received by the Air India Mumbai office at around 330am. It was immediately passed here.
Soon after the Bomb Threat Assessment Committee swung in to action with search operation but the threat turned out to be a hoax.
Due to it however no flight operation was affected.
