Congress announces 7 committees for Lok Sabha election in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: Opposition Congress party has announced formation of 7 committees for 26-seat Lok Sabha election in Gujarat which is likely to be held in the months of April-May.
A 15-member media coordination committee in Gujarat for upcoming Lok Sabha general elections with Naresh Raval as chairman and Ameeben Yagnik as convener.
The members of this committee include Himanshu Vyas, Manish Doshi, Badruddin Sheikh, Alpesh Thakor, Himanshu Patel, Manhar Patel, Lalit Vasoya, Narendra Ravat, Rutvij Joshi, Naishadh Desai, Nimesh Desai, Jayrajsinh Parmar, Dipam Bhatt, Jagat Shukla and Nidat Barot.
The party has also announced a 27-member jumbo-size publicity committee for Gujarat unit in connection with upcoming Lok Sabha elections with Tushar Chaudhry as chairman and Rohan Gupta as convener. The committee has Raju Parmar, Brijesh Merja, Alpesh Thakor, Vijay Dave, Hemang Vasavada, Gaurav Pandya, Rajendrasinh Patel, Chetan Raval, Bhargav Thakkar, Mihir Shah, Rutvij Joshi, Hemang Raval, Pranay Shukla, Nitin Shah, Nagesh Mishra, Ashoksinh Vihol, Harish Nayak, Pratapbhai Yadav, Dipal Barot and Rafik Mogal , Yashin Banglavala, Kanu Vaghela, BK Parmar, Nikunj Meda, Mahesh Sonara, Kanu Padhiyar, Nishit Vyas and Iqbal Sheikh as members.
