Gujjar agitation: Several Gujarat linked trains cancelled, diverted, delayed, short originated/terminated
February 09, 2019
Gujjar in neighboring state Rajasthan are again on railway tracks protesting for 5% reservation quota in government jobs and educational institutes. Due to their dharna along railway tracks in Sawai Madhopur district, several Gujarat bound/originating trains have been diverted, delayed, cancelled, short originated and short terminated.
Gujjar protesters are seeking five per cent separate special reservation to Gujjars, Raika-Rebari, Gadia Luhar, Banjara and Gadaria.
