2 more Swine flu deaths today, 89 new cases with maximum 40 in Ahmedabad city

Gandhinagar: A total of 2 deaths due to swine flu occurred across Gujarat today taking the cumulative figure of mortality owing to H1N1 virus caused flu to at least 60.
The daily bulletin issued by the state health department did not specify as to where the two deaths took place. It only said that two under treatment patients have died.
Apart from this a total of 89 new cases were confirmed today, of these the largest number of 40 was in Ahmedabad city while 3 were from the rural Ahmedabad.
9 new cases in Anan, 6 each in Vadodara city and Sabarkantha, 3 each in Banaskantha, Mahesana, Patan and Jamnagar city 2 each in Rajkot, Junagadh city and Jamnagar while one each in Kutch, Surat city, Gandhinagar, Vadodara city, Kheda, Aravalli and Mahisagar.
According to the bulletin since January 1 till today a total of 1053 cases have been cured while 582 were still under treatment.
