Rupani returns from Rajkot due to illness, will skip Bhavnath fair event with UP CM

Rajkot: CM Vijay Rupani today returned to capital Gandhinagar due to illness cancelling his participation in the event in Bhavnath fair in neighbouring Junagadh district in which UP CM Yogi Adityanath would remain present.

CM Rupani had reached in his hometown Rajkot from where he was to go to Bhavnath fair along with his UP counterpart but due to fever, body-ache and stomach ache he had to return to capital Gandhinagar for rest and treatment.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath would, however participate in the event as scheduled.

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijaybhai Rupani today showed symptoms of fever and vomiting this morning. Following this, later his health was checked-up by the doctors at the Civil Hospital in Gandhinagar.

After that Mr. Rupani left for Junagadh as per his official schedule. At Rajkot airport, Rupani was supposed to welcome Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mr. Yogi Adityanath and to accompany with him to Junagadh for Shivratri Mela. However, as Mr. Rupani’s health weakened again he returned to Ahmedabad.

The health of Rupani was examined by a team of doctors — Dr. R. K. Patel and Dr. Manoj Ghoda — at the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad. After the medical check-up by the duo doctors, they diagnosed Rupani with swelling on his intestines.

At present, health of Chief Minister is stable and nothing to worry. However, on the advice of the doctors to take total rest, all his official programmes for dated on March 2 (Tomorrow) have been cancelled.
