Ahmedabad: The official website of Gujarat state unit of Congress party in Gujarat was today hacked and the unidentified hacker placed an indecent photo of Patidar Anamat Aandolan Samiti (PAAS) leader Hardik Patel, who recently joined the party.

The photo of Hardik on the website http://www.gujaratcongress.in/ put by hacker was taken from the alleged sex CD’s of the PAAS leader that had come to fore earlier. The hacker had written welcome to my leader in our party on the obscene picture.

The caption along with the photo was ‘Welcome our new leader’.

In 2017,number of sex CDs with Vodka and women in it were uploaded on Youtube allegedly involving Hardik Patel. In response Hardik had stated,'I'm yet to marry and I'm not impotent'. Hardik was recently inducted to Congress on 12th March,anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi's salt march pic.twitter.com/EWwra5I7Zv

Party spokesperson Manish Doshi said that it was an act of those who had become fearful of Hardik’s joining Congress.

Without naming BJP directly he said that there were many people who were afraid after his joining the party on March 12 in front of party president Rahul Gandhi.

Doshi said that the party would lodge a complaint in this regard with the cyber cell of the Ahmedabad police.

He also said that as soon as the incident of hacking came to the notice of the party the website was closed and it was under repair and hopefully would start functioning normally in short time.
