I will heartily and with all efforts try to take forward Advaniji’s legacy: Amit Shah ahead of filing nomination for Gandhinagar seat

Ahmedabad: BJP chief Amit Shah remembered his days as party’s booth leader in Sanghvi high school area of Naranpura while speaking in a public meeting ahead of filing nomination as BJP candidate for Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat.

Shah said, ‘if you take BJP out of my life, I am only and only zero, and nothing more. Whatever I got, whatever I learned, whatever I tried to deliver was only because of BJP.’

Shah said Advaniji, Atalji and Purushottam Mavlankar were MPs from Gandhinagar constituency.

I was elected as MLA from this same area for five terms totaling 25 years. I became Rajya Sabha member when Lok Sabha election was not there. I am a person who lives among people. I am thankful for BJP’s top leadership for giving me opportunity to contest Lok Sabha seat.

‘When I ask who is going to lead the nation, I hear only ‘Modi Modi Modi Modi Modi Modi’ from Arunachal to Gujarat. Within five years, a former Gujarat CM who had not even contested a village election before becoming CM is loved by entire nation, this is because the people of this country were waiting for last 70 years to get such leadership.’

‘Modi is going to become PM of this country again for sure, but I want to appeal the people of Gujarat to give all 26 seats.’

Shah said Gandhinagar’s development is our commitment and Gandhinagar is one of most developed areas in entire country.

Shah said he will heartily and with all efforts try to take forward Advaniji’s legacy (as representative of Gandhinagar).
