Modi will return to power with bigger victory, TV’s would soon put disclaimer before showing Rahul’s statements:Maharashtra CM Fadnavis in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: Maharashtra CM and senior BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis today claimed that as a larger chunk of poor and middle class, the main beneficiaries of PM Narendra Modi’s welfare schemes had voted in the first phase of LS polls, his party was going make a come-back to power at center with even a bigger margin.

He also quipped that the kind of ludicrous statements Congress president Rahul Gandhi was making would soon make the news channels show a disclaimer before these on the lines of the disclaimers shown before serials claiming that it was imaginary and has nothing to do with truth.

Fadnavis campaigned for party candidate on Ahmedabad -West Lok sabha seat Kirit Solanki and also hold a meeting of local Marathi community in Maninagar area.

Talking to newsmen he said that the first phase of voting has shown that this time a larger chunk of voters from poor and middle class community had come out to vote and they were among beneficiaries of various schemes of Modi government.Such voters who don’t say anything have obviously voted for Modiji. It shows that Modi would return to power with even bigger win than that of the last time. He said that the party would again win all the 26 LS seats in Gujarat and that too with bigger margins.
After garlanding the Ambedkar statue in Sarangpur area here on his birth anniversary he also said that Modi was the strongest defender of the constitution made by Baba Saheb.

Later during a public meeting he said that Congress president was issuing strange and ludicrous statements. Congress which raised poverty issue during every election was itself responsible for it. They even sought proof for aerial strike in Balakot after Pulwama attack.

‘You must have seen on the TV that before any serial a disclaimer is shown which claims that it has nothing to do with reality and that the story was imaginary. Likewise it seems that the news channels would soon start putting a similar disclaimer before showing Rahul’s speeches and statements,’ he said.

He also said that Gujarat was younger brother while Maharashtra was elder one which felt happy at the progress of the former. He said that there was positive competition between the two.
