Lioness dies due to falling in to under construction well in village near Gir forests

Junagadh : An around 8 years old lioness died due to falling in to an under-construction well in a farm in Nagadiya village under Jasadhar range of West Gir forests in Gujarat today.
CCF Junagadh D T Vasavada said that the incident happened in the farm of Bharthbai Bavubai, who is digging a new well in his farm and is 50 to 60 ft.
The labourers noticed the animal in the well and informed the farmer but due to injury that occurred due to collision to hard rock might have caused the death.PM and other procedure will be followed, he said.
