Woman killed by leopard in village near Gir forests

Junagadh: A 52 year old woman has been killed by a leopard in Kangsiyada village in Visavadar range of Gir forests in Junagadh district of Gujarat.
CCF Junagadh DT Vasavada today said that the body of one female killed by leopard was today recovered from the village in grass round of the Ghodasan beat of the forests.
She has been identified as Shardaben Samjubhai Bavaria (52).
Vasavada said, ‘as per primary information received a female dead body is reported from Kangasiyada village due to leopard attack. Forest staff is on the spot. Cages have been set up to trap the beast.’
