ACB nabs AMC senior clerk taking bribe of Rs 1.30 lakh in hotel

Ahmedabad: The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat police has arrested a senior clerk of the AMC taking bribe of Rs 1.30 lakh from a person for making a bill related to pay commission benefits.
Assistant Director of the ACB, D P Chudasama today said that Arvind M Jani was nabbed red-handed taking the bribe in a hotel in Lal Darwaza area of the city.
He had sought the bribe for making bill of Rs 4.30 lakh due to be paid to the complainant as complimentary payment under the seventh pay commission owing to increment.
