Leopard dies due to electrocution in farm near Gir forests

Junagadh:In another death of leopard due to electrocution within 24 hours, an around 5 year old male leopard was found dead on a transformer in a farm in Talala area close to Gir forests in Gir Somnath district this morning.
CCF Junagadh DT Vasavada said that the leopard was found dead in the farm of one Sarman D Gareja, who informed the forest officials at around 0730 am this morning. The forest was around 10 km from the spot. All the 18 nails of the beast were found intact. Detailed investigation was on.
Earlier yesterday
A female leopard died due to electrocution in Vandadhra village near Rabarika round of Tulsishyam range of the east Gir forest in Amreli district of Gujarat.
CCF Junagadh DT Vasavada said that the around 8 year old beast died in the farm of one Nathabhai R Vagh.
The leapord had died due to electric shock when it reached near a transformer mounted there.
