One dead, one injured as roof of the lab of chemical factory collapses in Gujarat

Ahmedabad: One person died and another injured when the roof of the under construction lab of a chemical factory in Vatva GIDC area in Ahmedabad suddenly collapsed today.
Police said that the incident took place in the premises of United Chemicals private ltd situated in phase 2 of the Vatva GIDC.
The new structure was being build over an old structure and it suddenly collapsed in the afternoon. One person was pulled out alive but in injured condition from the debris while the dead body of another person was taken out.
The deceased has not yet been identified.
