Car rally from Gujarat to London flagged off at Sabarmati Gandhi Ashram

Ahmedabad: A rally involving 10 cars and 30 people which would travel through 105 cities of 15 countries was flagged off today by Governor of Gujarat at Sabarmati Gandhi Ashram here.
The rally will reach London on August 12. Participants will hoist Indian tricolor at Ambedkar House in London on August 15.
The rally is organized by Shri Sai Trust to mark 150th birth anniversary year of Mahatma Gandhi.
It will cover 17,000 km route. Among participants are retired government officers, professionals, Jawans of Indian Air Force among others. Indian Army, CRPF, Maharashtra-Gujarat-Rajasthan-Uttar Pradesh State police are official partners of this rally.
