Heavy rain in Mumbai: Rail traffic affected, GSRTC runs special buses, at least two Gujarat linked flights cancelled

Gandhinagar: Gujarat government today said the State run Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) is operating special buses from railway stations in Valsad and Surat in South Gujarat to Borivali in Mumbai, Maharashtra as heavy rain has affected railway traffic between Mumbai and South Gujarat.

Several trains connecting Gujarat to Mumbai are delayed, some are diverted and some are cancelled following heavy rain, low visibility and water logging in Mumbai.

Most of the flights connecting various airports of Gujarat to Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji airport are delayed. At least two flights – Spicejet Ahmedabad – Mumbai flight SG 636 and Go Air Mumbai – Ahmedabad flight G8 2603 stayed cancelled today morning.
