Jamanagar: Amid very heavy rain in Jamnagar city, which has received the maximum across the state in last 24 hours at 173mm, at least two people injured in two incidents of collapsing of houses.

Police today said that a youth and a girl were injured when two floors of a three storied old building in Ganchivada near Kalawad naka suddenly collapsed late last night. They were admitted to hospital.

In another incident a portion (gallery) of a two storied building in Vandafali area of the city also collapsed but fortunately no one was injured.
