Gandhinagar: The Government of Gujarat has in an order made retired IAS K.Kailashnathan as Chairman, Sardar Sarovar Narmada Nigam Ltd. Kailashnathan will continue to be Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister.

As Chairman of SSNNL, Kailashnathan will replace S.S.Rathore, a Padma award winner senior officer who has been shifted to head Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation.

Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation was earlier headed by retired IAS officer I.P. Gautam who has been shifted to Delhi as member of Lok Pal member.
