Gandhinagar: Monsoon has again taken a break in Gujarat after reaching almost 88% of average rain this year even as met bulletin has not predicted any heavy rain during next 4 days.

There was a system over Kutch and neighbourhood as upper air circulation between 1.5 km to 3.1 km above mean sea level but there was no likelihood of heavy rain in the next 4 days.

In the last 24 hours ending 6 am today 204 talukas of 32 districts had seen rain with Harij in Patan seeing maximum 77 mm. The rain percentage in the state was 87.91.

From 6am to 6pm today, 69 talukas of 21 districts had seen light to moderate rain with maximum 44 mm in Una of Gir Somnath district. Halol has seen 30 while Matar in Kheda district 26 mm.

Even though there was no likelihood of heavy rain, the spells of light to moderate rains were likely to continue.
