Gandhinagar: A racket involved in cheating people in the name of providing call-girls through websites and social media has been busted by the crime branch of Gandhinagar police arresting 3 people in this connection.

Police said that the arrests have been made from a fake call-center in Sughad village close to Balaji Agora mall.

The three youths nabbed from the spot revealed that they used to run two web sites lovelyrani.com and skokka.com and used to take money as advance from people in the name of providing them call girls. They also used to sent photographs of girls on whatsapp to such people.

The involvement of two youths from Delhi has also come to fore in this racket.

Police has recovered Rs 1.28 lakh cash and 7 mobile phones from the spot. Further investigation was on after lodging a case in Adalaj police station.

Those nabbed have been identified as Vijay M Chauhan (28, resident of Chandkheda, Ahmedabad), Jagdish D Ahir (23, res- Naroda, Ahmedabad) and Kalpesh K Gohil (22, resident- Gandhinagar).
