Rajkot: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is likely to visit Rajkot to lay foundation stone and perform bhumi pujan for proposed All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS).

The Prime Minister is also likely to inaugurate a 250-bed new civil hospital during the visit. This hospital is constructed through PMSSY programme of Centre.

The new hospital will have super specialty departments such as Neurology, cardio, cath lab, urology, nephrology, open heart surgery, burns, plastic surgery, gastro entomologist, 4-bed ICU, 8 latest operation theaters, full AC wards and lobby and automatic DG set(no power cut). The new civil hospital will also have 10-bed private ward facility.
