Swallowed golden chocolates recovered from bodies of smugglers nabbed at Surat airport

Surat: Three golden chocolates were recovered from two smugglers hospitalized here. The smugglers were nabbed by Customs department at Surat airport.
Samim Saeed(58) and Hamad Khalil Ul Rehman(29), both from Delhi were nabbed by Custom department at Surat airport after presence of metal was detected in their bodies during metal detector test. Both had given confession that they had made chocolates of golden paste and swallowed it.
On Thursday, both accused were taken to civil hospital for medical check up where doctors from Surgery department detected presence of two metal paste in Samim’s stomach and four in Hamad’s. Both accused were kept under observation. Hamad later discharged one golden chocolate, while three were still in his body for which he was kept under observation. Samim discharged two chocolates (100 gram and 150 grm). He was relieved from hospital.
