Junagadh: The forests department sleuths have arrested five people in connection with the viral video/photos of said harassment of a group of lions in Junagadh district of Gujarat.

A forest official today said that during the investigation it was revealed that such a video and photos were taken by a group of people in Dungar Uttar range and Paturan round of forests here on September 2.

Five people Rashid Taiyab Hala (Resident Junagadh), Shahrukh Habib Theba (Resident Medpara, Taluka Bhesan Junagadh), Nilesh L Makwana (Resident Medpara), Deepak S Chavda (Resident Junagadh) and Jelamsinh Nagaji Bhati (Resident Paswada, Taluka Bhesan, Junagadh) have been nabbed in this connection after investigation.

All of them have been booked under Wildlife protection act and sent to jail.
