Gandhinagar: A total of 64 Taluka in 21 districts of Gujarat have seen rain till 8 pm today with maximum 72 mm in Dahod.

As a new low pressure area is likely to form over South Gujarat coast tomorrow there was a likelihood of heavy to very heavy rain in the next four days and today as well in parts of the state.

Today among other prominent rain getters till 8 pm were Waghai 50 Jalalpor and Vasada 42 and Kaprada 40mm. Ahmedabad city is likely to see light rain or thundershowers tonight, as per the met bulletin issued here this evening.

A LOW PRESSURE AREA IS VERY LIKELY TO FORM OVER EASTCENTRAL ARABIAN SEA AND ADJOINING AREAS OF NORTHEAST ARABIAN SEA, NORTH KONKAN SOUTH GUJARAT COAST AROUND 20TH SEPTEMBER. IT IS LIKELY TO MOVE WEST NORTHWESTWARDS AND CONCENTRATE INTO A DEPRESSION DURING THE SUBSEQUENT 48 HOURS.
