Amreli: A five year boy was killed by a leopard in Champathal village today.

CCF Junagadh D T Vasavada said that a leopard from the nearby Liliya range of Gir-East forests attacked and killed Chirag in the farm of one Suresh M Nakrani.

The deceased was a native of Motirel village in Fatepura taluka of Dahod district. He has come to the village with his father and mother both of whom were farm labourers. The incident took place at 1030 am.

Cages have been placed in and around the spot to nab the leopard.
