Haridwar (Uttarakhand): Pilgrim town Haridwar has presence of estimatedly 250 Non Resident Gujarati families, mainly in the areas of Sidkul, Shantikunj, Haripurkala and Sasara Road. Cultural garba event is organized here for last 14 years. This year, Navratri Garba event will begin from September 29 at Devpura chowk.

Navratri event includes Ma Shakti’s aarti, puja, Garba, Dandiya and Gujarati prashad distribution. The event is led by Haridwar Gujju Group president Rajeshbhai Pathak in cooperation with Nagjibhai, Rameshbhai, Laherbhai, Alpeshbhai Patel, Pavanbhai Dave, Priteshbhai Dave, Motubhai Deshani, Jaybhai Soni, Lakshmanbhai, Rajabhai, Doliben Nayak, Parikshit Joshi among others.
