21 dead in road mishap near temple-town of Ambaji in North Gujarat, total 31 deaths in three accidents

Palanpur: At least 21 people died in a road mishap near Trishuliya ghat close to pilgrimage town of Ambani in Banskantha district in North Gujarat.
In yet another road accident in the district 5 people had died earlier near Kuchavada teen rasta in Deesa rural police station area.
On a day of road mishaps, five other people had died in car-truck collision in Mehmadabad area in Kheda district.
SP Banaskantha Ajit Rajiyan said that the speeding bus slipped and turned turtle on the road during rain.
He said that so far 21 people have died in the accident. He did not rule out the possibility of rise in the toll.
According to the Palanpur police control room there were a total of 53 people in the bus who were returning to Anand district after offering prayers in Ambaji temple.
Injured have been sent to Palanpur hospital.
