Juangadh: Gujarat Chief Minister Rupani today inaugurated the first cancer hospital of Sorath region of Gujarat at Junagadh. Himalaya cancer hospital has been set up by Korat doctor husband wife at Vadal in Junagadh district. Chief Minister Rupani congratulated Dr. Rajesh Korat for his decision to offer free lodging and boarding facility to patients and their relatives. Dr. Rajesh Korat is originally from Bhesan taluka. He is settled in Vadodara. He said he decided to set up a cancer hospital here to serve 70 lakh people of 7 districts who otherwise had to travel to Ahmedabad for cancer treatment. The hospital at Vadal has 160 bed and modern facility, he said.
