Gandhidham: A local railway station here has become a selfie point thanks to wall paintings done as part of beautification project. The wall paintings are thematic and they spread messages of social awareness. Kutch’s tourism places are also promoted through colorful paintings.

In countrywide competition for the same, Gandhidham railway station had stood third. In phase – 2 paintings were done on platform number one side wall towards Bhachau. Most of these paintings depict the culture and rural life in Kutch.

Even foot over bridge’s steps are colored with messages of social importance written over.

Railway Station officials are hoping for countrywide first rank in national competition for beautification of railway stations.
