Ahmedabad: Started from 20th July, Vivo Pro Kabaddi took the indigenous sport of Kabaddi to new levels of professionalism this year while bringing entertainment through fun moments from the game. One of the leading venues for the game, EKA Arena by TransStadia in Ahmedabad, which hosted the home leg of the Gujarat Fortune Giants earlier in the tournament will also be playing host to the eliminators, semifinals and final of the seventh season of the Pro Kabaddi League. The playoffs get underway from 14thOctober which will include two eliminators on the same day and two semifinals on 16th October, whereas the final of the league is held on 19th October.

For the first time in India, in association with EKA Arena by SE TransStadiaPvt. Ltd., Mashal Sports Pvt. Ltd and Star India Pvt. Ltd., this year will see Pro Kabaddi League playoffs running through a week alongside the biggest entertainment extravaganza of the year.Conceptualised by these sports bodies, the FanFestis organized with an intention to raise fan engagement and the entertainment quotient.

The Vivo Pro Kabaddi Play Off sand FanFest are held at indoor EKA Arena and Asia’s largest FIFA-standard football pitch for double the fan experience. FanFest includes an array of cultural events such as concerts, flea market, food carnival, games and activities, and match screening. Three of the most prolific singers from the Indian Cinema, DarshanRaval, Kanika Kapoor and Amit Trivedi, will be performing live to their hit numbers and some more.The fans will also get a chance to enjoy live music while shopping their favourite PKL merchandises, participate in challenging kabaddi-themed games, enjoy varied food offerings and followed by live-action of the most exciting kabaddi matches of this season. To top it up, various cultural events which are lined up during the playoffs at the EKA Arena will enthral the fans and add to their bucket of unforgettable experiences.
