Train engine derails in Gujarat, rail traffic on Kutch-Mumbai route disrupted

Gandhidham: Rail traffic on Mumbai-Kutch route was affected today as the engine of a passenger train derailed near Bhimasar station in Kutch district of Gujarat.
A Railway spokesperson said that the engine of 59426 Palanpur-Gandhidham passenger derailed near Bhimasar station yard crossing number 225 at 0425 in the early morning today. No casualty has been reported in the accident.
Due to this 19115 Sayajinagari express was halted at Bhachau, 22955 Kutch Express at Samakhyali and 14321 Ala Hajrat Express at Adesar.
The track was cleared later and the rail traffic become normal by 1320 hrs this afternoon.
